should i try trading to this?

i weigh 152 but i ride my friend's 1986 Husqvarna 400 all the time and ride my other friend's Yamaha YZ426F alot until he blew it up. i know i'm a scrawny little feller haha. but i would get killed on this bike because once i start going fast i only want to go faster!

i know that is a big bike for me but i love feeling all the power under me, i love going fast, and i love having the fastest thing around. i was the fastest around until my friend got that Husqvarna 400 about half a year ago. if i get the bike i'm going to love the look on his face!

I used to have a DRZ125.
You will only be able to get $500- 700 max out of that dirtbike.
I'd do that trade in a sec.

the 2003 values at 1300 and i am only wanting 1000 for it at most i would take 800 for it right now though. plus i just rebuilt the top end so it is good to go for a long time unless you abuse it. i think i could get 800-1000 out of it my friend has an 05 drz just like mine and he got offered 400ex's, banshee's, warriors, and he got offered 1500 for his.

i did ride blasters, i have a frame and some spare parts. just need to finish the banshee first.

yeah i see where you're coming from, and if i had to guess i'd say once you've finished the banshee it will probably be pretty damn fast! can't remember if i already asked this but what all is currently done to the banshee and what all do you still have planned for it?

Now a days it's not the value it's what you can actually sell it for.
I sold mine for $500.
Don't get wrong, if you can sell or trade it for more then by all means do it B)

so tell me, that kfx400 that needed the left side case, he was asking 500 and that guy with the blaster was also asking 500. the guy with the blaster has been replying to me asking me if i'll trade him. what is your opinion on it?

From a value standpoint.
If your able to replace the KFX's case yourself with a good used one then $500 for that is the best deal.
From the 'I want to ride and keep riding with the cheapest maintenance' then the trade for the Blaster is the better deal.
A solid running KFX400 and a modded trail Blaster is pretty much on the same level of performance.
The difference between the 2 is really in the maintenance cost, the Blaster will be cheaper to maintain and has a much bigger aftermarket.

^^^^^^ he hit that right on the head, but i wouldnt do the ghetto case swap, if u are gunna do it u better get a harmonic seperator and such

from the motor jobs i have done up to now, i have managed without special tools and i don't feel like managing without again so, shall i say, to hell with the kfx! i might think about the blasty i got offered, but i don't know, may just sell and buy parts for my current blasty or find one for cheap and start fixing on another one for 2 different riding styles.

well i don't have all the special tools for the cases and i don't like having to improvise so i'm not going to trade for the kfx. do you think i should trade for the blasty? pics of it and info on it are on first page.
