the guy is asking $500 for the blasty and i could sell the bike for 1100 if the axle wasn't bent and it might need a rim. i might could get about 900 or so.
should i try trading to this?

I'd offer him 300 cash, keep your bike, if the blaster is not an 03 like u want, you can part it out and do ok. I just sold a bottom end, no clutch or stator, just the trans in cases, for $250. You can't Lose. I'm going to look at another 100.00 craigslist special tomorow
well guys i'm talking to a guy about trading him that drz125 to a 2004 Kawasaki KFX400. the kfx needs left side case (it is busted, most likely running a loose chain and the chain came off and busted it). he already has the motor off and the head is off the motor, the rest is still put together. as soon as i find out where it is i might be going to trade him if it isn't too far.
and also, the FMF Powercore II silencer came in for my blasty today, the fatty pipe and jet kit should be here tomorrow or friday.

yeah it will be quite a bit of work but i am more familiar with working on a 4 stroke than a 2 stroke. it might take a while to finish it, as i will do it as the money comes in, but i will get it done. right now it will need tires soon too as they are about bald but i have some laying around that i can use until i could get new ones for it. let me post links to pics. and i don't care ALOT for kawasaki but they are pretty good bikes and this is one of the models where kawasaki and suzuki shared motors. kfx400 = ltz400

god nothing pleases you guys haha, i am looking for something cheap to do from the ground up, that's how i did my blasty and it's looking alot better now than when i got it. but i guess i'll keep looking until i find something that may please you guys.
dont try to please us, please yourself, we are just looking out for ya, u asked for advice, so we are giving it, it is ultimately your choice though
