Guy's i'm here askin for some help again with my blaster:"> I recently purchased a shorty rear brake cable from Vetos and am now in the process of installing it. My question is, where the cable fit's into the "C" shaped clip right behind the peg I can not figure out how to get the cable into the clip. I'm not sure if this makes sense or not. I have my cable attached to the brake lever and I see where the steel sleeve on the cable fit's into the clip but it's like the clip is just a little to small and I cant get the sleeve to slide in?? I tapped it a few times with a hammer trying to push it in with no luck and I dont want to hurt it. Has anyone else ran into this problem? I thought of trying to drill the clip out one size up from what it is but I dont want it to be to big and the cable to move. Your guy's help is greatly appreciated!

I got a motion pro shorty and the it has a cotter pin and washer that hold it onto the break pedal. I am not sure how the vitos cable works and, I am not exactly understanding what you are asking. Maybe take a picture and maybe I can help you out!

OK so I got around to up loading some pic's to try to help answer my question. The way I beleive it to work is that the cable should feed through that C shaped bracket on the side of the frame and then go back twords the caliper. The problem being is that the hole in the bracket is to tight and I can not get the metal sleeve of the cable to fit into it?? Has any one else ran into this issue? If so what should I do to make my cable fit. Drill the hole slightly bigger? Your guy's help is GREATLY appreciated!I:I cause in confused as hell!

do what d.jackson said, you have to run the cable and hook it through that hook BEFORE you hook the cable to the caliper side of your brake system.

OK guy's after re reading your posts and checking out the pictures I got it figured out last night. Now she works like a dream! This is such a better set up then the factory unit with the parking brake. Thanks again for the quick help!
