I have a question does anyone use riding boots with there yamaha blaster(I still have stock shifter lever and I were a size 14 boot) I have tried to shift with them its too hard. I have a 2005 yamaha blaster if anyone can help me that would be great

my woman had problems shifting with her boots on. i repositioned the shifter so it's easier for her to get her boot under it. might want to try that. it's simple to do. just pull the bolt completely out, slide the shifter off the shaft and put it back on in a position that will be more comfortable for you. might want to check your riding position too. if you wear size 14, i'd assume you're taller than most. tall people have a habit of sitting further back in the seat than they are supposed to.

i just ride with shoes cause my boots get filled up with water and it riding with good amount of water in your boots sux lol haha ..

i never understood why people post the exact same topic in different categories...

I have the same problem as you.... and the same boot size lol...

if you are using the really tall boots it just dont work!!!!.... lol

you need to go out an buy yourself a pair of thor50/50 boots

they work great

i had mine at a 45 degree angle down from the peg changed that the first day its now a little above(i can stick a avergae wrinch on the peg and the shtier will rest on the wrinch) the peg works good and i got a 10 size foot and use boots

I just took out my blaster after it sat for almost two months. it started 1st kick no choke because it was in the 90s today, the boots i have are brand new so i will have to break them in.

i've found its so much easier to shift once you move the shift lever up.. i rode all day today when i got my blaster back. i already love the boots, mine are waterproof and i had to ride home in a thunderstorm so it kept my feet nice and toasty =D
