Shearer_VS_LRD

read what i said man, the SAME rider with the different pipes on the bike, runs a drag of 3-500ft, and sees times and you will hear where each one picks up, that way you have a real life environment type setting to tell you what type of pipe you should run on ur bike, kinda like picking a pair of shoes

I know what you mean 2smoker85
I removed the clutches and they are wasted, 250 dyno pulls on them LOL
I want to re-run the two pipes with new clutch pack
I do like the LRD and Shearer pipes the engine is a stock stroke small bore set up.
I will try to re-run them soon.
As Dennis mentioned I will show the whole picture and will start the run at 3000RPM to 10,000RPM

^^ it was for fabb he didn't seem to understand what i was saying, this should be pretty good, what kind of clutch was it? must've been a good one to last that long
ebc hd?

Problem with that is there is no such thing as 2 of the exact same rider. There are no two riders out there that are build exactly the same that have the exact same riding style or experience.

Heres the bottom line, I know for experience from riding Davids Kennedy P&P motor with the Shearer pipe that it pulls really hard. But I also know that we drag raced about a 300ft strip 6 or 8 times and me with my stock set up w K&N intake, Boyeseen 2 stage reeds and FMF pipe beat him twice. Now, means that his Kennedy build motor with VF3's and CFM air box w bigger carb beat me more times. The average win for him was between a bike length and and a bike and a half.

I have a Kennedy topend in my lineup that would half track your setup in 300ft every pass. If Angus put your friends engine together and you get close to
it, your freind can't ride a lick!

just curious about the clutches everybody is using, i have a ebc in mine its works well but a lil pricey, is there a better/cheaper good clutch that i could use? kennedy what kind of clutches do you use? , i beat dynoing is hell on a clutch? ive talked to sum people who have a drag blasters (crazy stuff) they told me they use a lock up clutch system becuz its the only why to hold all the power. im assuming that ur (kennedys drag bike) has to use a lock up but i dont know where to find one. any help would be appreciated thanks

are you kidding me? i can ride. dont you have like a 240 stroker build? im sure if i want all out with a 240 stroker build, a larger carb, upgraded clutch, and all that i would smoke any blaster stock bore and stroke.

I am real happy for you....First, hes my twin brother. Second, We both have a pretty decent amount of riding experience. Third, The bike only has the agressive trail port, not whatever drag port set up you have. Fourth, We dragged 6-8 times, He rode his bike some of the drags and then we switched. When I was on his bike I was only beating him by about a bike and a half. We were trying to get the most accurate testing possible.

With all that said, When we were riding trails, his bike could pull harder out of the corners and stuff. His bike has a noticable amount more pull than mine but that does not mean that its going to half track me in a 300ft drag.

If you would like to come test it out come out to California and I will let you (with all of your expertise) and you can ride his and half track me if you think you can.

Bottom line is that Kennedy did you nice build and, djack is very pleased with the work and how it performs. I was not knocking that, I was stating the fact in our 6-8 drag races the results were that the Kennedy bike was only winning by a bike and a half.
