well never mind now...i just ordered 1..I guess i wil just half to deal with the crappy 80psi of compression its got right now for a few days.I just wish it would idle and not be so speratic. It dont smoke barely at all but it back fires occasionaly and idles sometimes and doesnt other times and some tiems it just doesnt come down from the rpms...And no it doesnt have an intake leak i already checked.
I think it may be lean to...cuz i was just riding it and the more its warmed up the better it runs..So yea i am gunna check into that...I probly just gunna go ahead and pick the needle up 1 notch...U think that will do the trick if it is running lean? I am gunna go see if i can run it around the yard with the choke on and see what it does.
Depends how lean it is, you might need to bump the main up a size or two. You probably have to rebuild to. 80psi is damn low. I duno, the only 4 strokes ive ever messed with was a couple raptor 660's. Kind of a pain in the ass with those 2 carbs.
I know it needs a rebuild or valve adjustment...1 or the other...it came with new valves i just gotta put em in.But it dont smoke or anything so i am thinking the valves need adjusting and thats probly why i got low compression. She kicks over like a biotch.I have a hard time with it.And it wont start when i use the decompression lever so.
Alright i checked the jets in it....Its got a 115 main and a 20 pilot...so i had a 30 kicking around so i put that in there.But are those the right jets?
