why is everybody that has a bunch of money in their blasters just giving up after blowing a top end or breaking something simple??
you all spent so much time and effort to make your bikes one of a kind and built specific to your liking, then one little thing goes wrong and you bail out like its all completely hopeless. then when you part out you want new prices for stuff? just suck it up and fix the bike! you all didnt put that much time and effort into them to just quit.

from the sounds of it a couple of them are wanting to go to something bigger, or have other projects laying around and a couple have put money into the blasters and lost their jobs or has in someway run into financial troubles and need the money for something else

im in the hole too but im never gonna get any of my hard work back that i have into mine and i dont have hardly anything done to mine like some of these guys do

yep I hear ya, I know I always wanting a raptor 660 and a couple other bikes but after I got this blaster I don't really want anything else, but I'm still new to the game, and putting my effort and money(what little I cant, when I can) makes it even more enjoyable. Specially after seeing some of these bikes that are getting parted out, its like MAN I wish I had the money for that.

But part of it i think (dont flame if you disagree) it that for some people building it is more fun to them than owning the built blaster. Ive know a few people like that, they finish a project and then just sell it off and start again. It blowing up is just an early finish i guess. and well i like them part outs... get some real nice cheap parts :)

mine isnt built built lol but the motor is built pretty well, I havent even got to ride the thing yet because I'm having crank seal problems, at the moment i plan on offering it up for trade to this guy with a cherokee.

Some things are just more important than the quad

i totally agree. i like the feeling of know that everything is what you wanted. im trying to get rid of mine right now cuz im done what im doin to it, then im gonna try and buy a STOCK lt250r and make it my own.

Mine are going to be here to stay, both will have enough custom work done to them to make them mean track machines. I will most likely get a 450 somewhere down the line, but the blastys will have their place in my shop.

Don't you know? Some parts have gold in them.lol

what you think those parts are free for the builder too????? hell no..what do u expect someone to dump alot of money into there bike to just give it away to someone else just because they have other plans and the blaster isnt in it? i dont get you guys that expect someone to sale something on here for dirt ass cheap, yep i put my arms and shocks on here for 950 for both y dont u look up the prices for just the shocks o guess what there 950 and the arms are 600 new so y would i give the em away and i know im not getting singled out here im just using it as an example. its the most frustrating thing to go look in a for sale thread just to see someone flaming prices..it costs money to build so therefore i would expect to get most of my money back or i would let it sit and rot before i give it away just cuz u dont like the price and if u dont like the price go buy it new and spend double the money dont matter to me. and im the same way i like to build something and then when im almost done i will keep it for awhile and sell it just because its the fun in building it. my blaster i been up and down the fence on parting it for other plans so y flame me for that? i dont wanna get rid of it but i aint rich and cant have the money for 2 projects well im done ranting now

Yeah I can relate to that, its almost funner working on it then riding!
