Sending Engine In

Im sending my engine to a place to get it rebuilt and ported and stuff.

But he wants my carb as well, and i have the engine out and everything, but i dont know if he just wants the main carb bit, or the big bit on top as well.

I would ring him but he has gone to the moto GP in Valencia this week.

So should i send whole carb with top bit with throttle and stuff, or just the bottom bit?

I dont know why he wants your carb except to maybe bore it out. but in any case that bit on top (its called the T.O.R.S. system) is completely usless and has nothing to do with preformance. in fact it does nothing but cause problems down the road most everyone on here has it removed. thats generally the first thing blaster owners do along with oil injection block off kits and premixed fuel. theres a thread in the DIY section to show you how to disconnect it
so yeah just send the bottom

O rite, i never realised that the whole thing was the TORS.

Ill remove it now then, and clean the carb up then send it off

Get it all ready to send off, go to Post Office tomorrow.

i would just send him everything and when u mean top of carb do you mean the t.o.r.s. or do you mean the slide and cap ontop?
