Everyone is allways finding cheap things on craigslist so i figured i would share my new tool/toy i scored at work for free. We no longer needed this heavy duty 100% duty cycle with low hours compressor, so i volunteered to remove it from the building. The only thing i need to do is change the motor to a single phase 220 instead of a 460 volt 3 phase.
Ebay has a brand new motor shipped for 190 bux but i scored a free single phase motor as well today from our electrician at work who will come and install it for free hopefully next week.
It was in our machine shop and it was only used at most 6 months before they tied us into the main compressor room. If i cant score sh*t on craigs list i will score some place. I:I
