I know pulling the choke out should kill it, if not it is lean. When its warmed up i pull the choke out 1 click. It doesn't seem to run better but the the same as with choke off. Would no effect with the choke half way on also be a lean sign? My plug was previously ran rich so I cant get a good reading. It also will slightly bog on low throttle take off, but i doubt its rich because the head temp was 226 F. I think it might be on the hot side?

if the bike bogs down ur prob still rich and if u were runnign rich it would give u a reading on the plug pretty much instantly even after a rich cycle if u changed ur jets or sumthin. a sign would be revving up at idle by itslef or a high idle. i would check ur jets and let us know wat u got and do some plug chops

if its acting sluggish its probibly rich,if its hesitating its more then likely lean.Only real way you can check if your lean or rich is checking the plugs, you should always use a new plug when you check jetting old plugs will tell nothing.

I figured an old plug wouldn't do much. It has plenty of power, the bog is just throughout maybe like 1/8 to 1/4 throttle. I know the pilot and everything seem to be set it idles and revs perfect. The bog is only while its in gear and I take off. It still has the dynojet 360 crap in. I have all the mikuni sizes i need. Just confused because the plug resembles rich but yet it is running very hot. I think its getting to much air. when I put a rag over the airbox it would run worse with choke on not better like it should be. I still dont understand why my plug would be semi wet though?

FYI i think they charge like 1.79$ at autozone for a B8es NGK plug
might be a good investment for ya'

I have a ngk BR8ES is that the same as you mention? The R has something to do with electronic interferences which would be better? I really want to mess with it but it is 10 degrees out not the best time for jetting.
