Just bought this Blaster from a kid. It was a race quad so I'm going thru everything because everything is screwed up (No fuel filter, no vent hoses on carb, bolt thru rear shock but no nut, wiring, just to name a few) :o The nuts that hold on the rims are rounded off, I'm thinking about taking a grinder and grinding the nuts and wheel studs off. Can I just buy some new wheel studs and get them pressed in? Or?????? There's five or six that I can't get out.

you could, but what i did with stuck and rounded lugs was tack weld a cheater bar to the nut and just crank it til it came off. but if you dont have a welder you could cut them off, it would be hard to not screw up the wheels in the process. but i dont think the studs would be too hard to press in anyways, maybe a good strong vice and some blocks and a hammer?

just grind it off, thats what I did. and it is like 14$ total for a stud and a nut
and all it takes is a hammer to get the new stud back in... it a simple fix...

i just had to buy 6 new wheel studs and they were about 3 bucks apiece plus 5 bucks for 6 nuts so they are cheap... to get the old ones out just put a block of wood and smack the stud with a hammer to push it back out and the new ones will just slide right in enough to get the nut started and when you tighten it down it will suck it in to place its a real simple proses...
