rotella heavy duty gear oil wat ya think

its sae 80w-90. i bought it cuz i dont have a bike shop around and im lookin for something i can find at like walmart or advanced auto. is this to thick. my buddy said it was too thick and it wouldnt get down in the pins and that. i kno there is alot of threads on this i just cant get the answer im lookin for.lol

The cheapest good stuff is type F tranny fluid. 1.99 qt walmart.

No special brand. type "F" is the important part, it doesn't contain friction modifiers, Pennzoil is what my walmart has. Right now i'm using Belray gear lube only because it was free, otherwise My builder recommended Type "F". He said to change it frequently( monthly for me as i don't ride but 20 hours a month maybe.
