erie,pa
what are rod bearings and are they hard to get to and replace??? i know this should be n the engine section but everybody looks at this one more

yup, the rod bearing is a professional job, crank bearings can be done yourself if you're mechanically inclined.

no im not lol.. brandoz or awk u guys got any spare blasters laying around or the bottom end.. ill buy it from ya

i dont know what it is.. its in the crank case.. side to side play in what.. i just waterlogged it and tried to keep going when i got water in the intake and everywhere

to check that stuff you have to take the jug off. then you should be able to get what i'm talking about. does it run again now?

no i got it all in pieces so no not yet and im not even gonna worry about it what do they do?? and water cant do that much to rod bearings can it ??? i mean i thougt it was the piston

i think im gonna order a piston get it bored and gaskets and just put it back together and see if it runs.. what the hell why not lol.. u only live once.. im going to mow ill be back in 30

since you'll have the jug off, check the tolerances on that big end rod bearing before putting it back together

what.. im just saying water cant affect to much and here is my plan.. im gonna hone the cylinder.. get new rings.. new piston and gaskets
