right hand exhaust

it depends how yo u want to look at it .power pros is a very good pipe and i have real world track time slips to prove that .a dyno is one thing but the times tel l the tale from point a to b ,not to mention the countless users who will atest to its great perfrmance .rjatv has power pros complete plated pipe kits for 330 shipped in lower 48 if you go that route

shearer is not aright side pipe it is a left side pipe that hands down out performs any right side pipe... kennedy has the dyno graphs to prove it

im still not buying it. pipe came out of no where, designed in a short time and only a couple people running them with not the results of HOLY sh*t BEST PIPE BY FAR kinda thing. dynos are not the best way to show the performance, they differ from dyno/dyno'er. im not sayin its bad, i just dont see it for all the hype everyones having towards it. everyones just listening to like 1 or 2 people.

ether way.. being in the car game and been a drag racer for almost 10 years now, DYNO's tell you what kinda power your making, obviously headers are going to make more power than manofolds, and a saingle plain intake will make more power than a dual plain, but at a higher rpm... wether or not you want to beleve it a dyno is proving grounds... 'the race shop' in wi has a twin turbo 62 impala.. you think they threwa motor together and went with it?? no extensive dyno testing AND track testing got them to where they are now!!

also and my uncles belair ( listed as impala but its a 1960 belair...)
motor has spent plenty of time on the dyno to tune/de tune to keep it around 10.2 in the 1/4

everyone can keep sayin dynos can be manipulated, which they can but when your testing prducts and want to but what makes the best power dyno's are your friend.. controled invironment, with real world results

the Shearer pipe did not just come out of nowhere. Mat Shearer has been designing the blaster pipe for a while now. He is well know in the Banshee drag race world.

i went to my local shop and told them that i got a shearer pipe, and the first thing outta the guys mouth was "that guy makes really good pipes"

i wont knock any pipe on the market. its not like any of them just welded some metal together and called it a blaster pipe. think of all the R&D that goes into making a pipe.

You have to admit. If any of you guys ran a business, and carried a certain brand you would push that brand like its the best. its called marketing. Im sure if you talked to a sales rep for FMF he would say they made the best blaster pipe hands down.

i do have to say that i have a Shearer pipe, and i love it. Im also sure that if i went with another pipe that was a RHB, i would love that pipe too.

funny enough i actually really like my fmf too...i mean i have only ridden stock pipe and fmf....but i have seen a fmf dyno, and i know that it comes on really hard really fast and then kinda falls on its face the rest of the way up, but somehow the way i ride with it i always seem to be in that rpm range where it is hittin hard, i dont like to rev the crap outta my motor to make power way up top, so i like that my fmf peaks hard and narrow in the mid range. Bottom line is each pipe has its own characteristics, and it really is kinda hard to compare them when one may be badass up top but not as good on bottom, while another maybe real good down low but have zero balls up top....how can you say which one is better? to each his own, and as long as it makes good power where you want it to why does it matter...do your homework...get a pipe that fits your riding style and not because it "is the best" ....theres no such thing as a perfect pipe...

the 'perfect pipe' would be a low to mid pipe, mid to high pipe and ahigh rpm drag pipe cramed into one pipe lol :o

Yeah that would be perfect...too bad its impossible unless you had a way to change the expansion chamber shape with rpm. You build the pipe to send back a pressure wave, and the rpm where the pressure wave hits right as the exhaust is closing esentially supercharging the cylinder, is the rpm that that pipe works best at, or is its sweet spot. With pipes you pretty much design around what rpm you want it to perform best at, so having a pipe that is resonating perfectly with the cylinder through the entire band is impossible. We need to invent something like v-tec for pipes...where you a computer can adjust the shape of the expansion chamber with rpms so then you could be always on the pipe! That's the only way you could have a perfect pipe...one that is constantly changing...now wouldn't that be sweet

im sure a fuel injection kit off a newer quad could me modified using mega squirt to work with a blaster..

closest thing to the 'perfect' pipe would be LRD's bb pipe for there bb kits for 250r's
Big-Bore Adjustable Exhaust - TRX250R [HFPTA00001] - $575.95 : LRD Performance, Experience the Power of Acceleration

Honda 250R
250R Big Bore VPR Pipe/Silencer
PEAK HP: 64 @ 8000 RPM
WEIGHT: 12.5 lbs.

Designed for heavily modified 330cc powervalve and larger engines. Enormous gains across the powerband. Utilizing a slip-fit design riders can fine tune their powerband for more bottom-end or more top-end.

This pipe is designed to accommodate the increased exhaust volume with out overheating or seizure problems. Pipes designed for 250cc engines will not reliably deal with the increased exhaust volume.

thats the pipe my buddy is running on his lrd 350bb power valve 250r.. its retarted fast.. 18 inch hole shots on loose dirt/sand at dyracuse atv trails.... 4th and 5th gear power wheelies throwin roosts 20 feet behind him!!!

yes your reading that hp number correctly!!! thats that pipe with a 38 mm air stryker with the lrd 350bb power valve kit

They actully made a adjustable pipe for the blaster to. You see them for sale here and there, i shoulda picked up that one that was on here for 175 shipped a long time ago
