Revving

when my quad revved before it would take it's time to rev down. But now since i turnt the little air/fuel screw down it seems to idle down normally like faster. Would that fuel screw affect anything, like idiling?

That's more or less what the mixture screw controls......idling to 1/4 throttle. In=richer, Out=leaner. The mixture screw is a fine tuning device for the pilot jet.

This is a good thing^^^. A hanging idle is a sign of a lean mixture. Turning the screw in made it richer.
