Starting to have problems with the revs hanging while I ride.
come into a corner and go to down shift and she still keeps reving.
If I upshift and bog the motor she comes down. It does not do this while
sitting under no load (nutural) The tors is removed and the carb is rebuilt,
could the reeds be week?

Thanks

aaaaaiiirr leak someplace man, do a leakdown test if possible or at the very least spray carb cleaner around untill the motor bogs way down. pretty ghetto but it points ya in the right direction

i would have to agree

and dont ride it till you get it fixed or it will go boooooooooom

What is the life span of the carb boot for lack of better words, It does have some
cracks, I just did a rebuild and put a new gasket on both sides of the reed houseing
with new bolts and clamps.

if i see any cracks i get rid of it, but dont assume that is your problem. you still need to check or you will be back here with one of those "i blew up my blaster today" threads.

It only does it after it warms up. As far tuneing I'm running a 250 main with the air box lid off and a dg pipe and silencer. the carb is all new on the inside. I did a plug chop
after break in and the plug showed a tad rich at that point. so really I was not consernd
because she was running very good. Its funny it just started after I put new back tires on, maybe she does not like them lol.

If your looking for airleaks...WD40 works great...its oil..so it wont tear up any seals while spraying it....but it sounds to me like an airleak..if you cant find any leaks on the top end..then check the crank seals..
