first i have a blackberry and dont have to resize them to post them..

second.. its ether a air leak or your jetting is way to lean.. try turning the air screw on the carb in one turn and see what it does

sounds like u need to fab up a leakdown tester. u more than likely have an air leak, or go run the blaster ride it through the gears the shut it off and pull the plug and see what the tip of the plug looks like, it will tell u if ur running lean or not, post a pic of the plug or google plug chop, here is a pic of what a well tuned machines plug looks like, u want a chocolate brown plug, and to tune ur air screw turn it in all the way and then go 1.5 turns out, start it and see how it idles. go from there, btw the brown colored part is ur insulator, just for reference so u know what ur looking at.

hes new, got to start somewhere, this is why i told him to do a plug chop, there are many variations people dont understand they automatically think its lean when it high revs, but it isnt always...

and everyone should have a leakdown tester, also why i told him to make one or buy one, your seals can go at anytime and u can have an air leak and not know it, all sh*t i have learned from trial and error bro

very true.. but iv seen the leak down test and comp test being thrown around wayyy to much to new members... im willin to bet alot of the new members just got there bikes and chances are there not jetted for cold.

thats why i told him both deals, the new guys throw it around, but so many people will come in here and repeat what we both just said like 20 times, that why i stopped giving out advice, i just stick to buying sh*t and building my sh*t, lol

it would be much easier for him to do a plug chop and check where he is at on the plug for temp and jetting than to mess with his jetting just yet. but more than likely he is lean because he said he was going to ride it in the snow...

and a lean jetting in the cold wil kill a motor FAST!!!

i try to help also, just wish people would use the search more seems we covered this a dozen time slast week lol... oh well we were all new at some point also

alright well good advice i cant do a plug chop tomorow no plow and top speed isnt the best idea in the snow. but im having a buddy who works at a local cycle shop come over in the morning he said some thing about it being lean too. ill let yall know how it goes tomorow night.

Thanks.

when u got it did u put a new plug in it? before u ride it do a plug chop on a new plug.
br8es is the plug u want its like 2 bucks. do this before u take out the jets and start messing with the carb. this is my advice to u because u need a starting point and just pulling the carb off and jets out isnt gonna tell u sh*t. the plug will tell all, if ur motor is runnin too hot, etc.

Also check your throttle cable. My friends blaster was doing the same thing as yours and his was due to a bad throttle cable.
