I like the soft ones but they will wear out quickly. You would be better off spending the extra money on the dual density ones. They last longer but sitll have a nice soft grip area.
OURY grips from ebay, $10 a set on ebay, softest vibration absorbing grips known to mankind, my set from early last season still have half tread left on them, but i replace them yearly anyway, the new set came last week waitin for me to get 'em on
Ok I saw the pillow tops and they were for twist throttles and idk what you mean by dual density.

buy these make sure you buy the thumb throttle ones... they are actually a triple density grip. glue to bar surface is extra hard and stiff to ensure proper adherence to the bars (first density) a medium compound rubber is out side of that designed to absorb vibrations (second density) and finally the hand to grip surface which also absorbs vibration but is the softest of the densities and is slightly tack to avoid slippage (third density)

I just put a pair of those but diffrent pattern on my build I've had three pairs they are hands down best imo
