removing exhaust crap

hey guys on my shearer by where the pipe meets the engine its starting to turn brownish/orangish.... what is it and can i get rid of it? its just so ugly!

I was starting to think that it could be due to heat but then i realised that it turns a blue/purpley colour.
Have you attacked it with steel wool?

your supposed to wipe all aftermarket pipes down with wd40 after you wash to prevent rusting.

last time i got rid of with the pressure washer lol is that a bad idea? so aj what kinda polish and sand paper?

i used 200 grit on my blaster when i got it got some of it off and mothers polish i use every time on the trx

doooood!! dont take sand paper to that shearer pipe!!! 0000 steel wool with metal polish, will clean it right up!!! and wont scratch the metal!

oh oh oh and this weekend i went riding in some big snow pants and they melted on to the pipe and now there is the melted pant stuff... ho do i get that stuff off? i heard a nickle would work well?

yeah them snow panta are big and bulky and little did i know until i see the hole in my pants and felt that quick burning sensation
