this is kind of a stupid question.. what do reeds do?

they allow air and fuel into your cylinder, and they are located in between your carb and jug....

o alright ill find them i dont know what the jug is im sure its sitting on my work bench right now but i just dont know lol

Do you have a manual? If not I suggest getting one... jug is another word for cylinder.

yup. i read my manual like twice all the way through. there is alot of information that i never thought i would be able to use.

i didnt get one with my blaster.. going to get one today from the local atv shop

they allow air and fuel into your cylinder, and they are located in between your carb and jug....

that isn't really correct. take your reeds out and fuel (air and gas) will still flow into your jug.
reeds dont allow fuel to come back out of the jug when the piston is making its downward stroke.
