Reed stops with aftermarket reeds?

so i bought new vitos reed petals about a month ago and a week ago a petal broke off. i used the metal strips that came with the reeds and i think the reeds may have broke from high rpm flutter but i cant be sure. new reeds are in the mail and my question is should i use my stock reed stops with the aftermarket reeds?

Dam, now you got me wondering :-/. I used just the strips also, think that if you were to also use the stops there would be some instructions. I do like the way they work tho. Guess if mine break I'll use stops next time. I:I

with the "AKTIVE REEDS" i got from ebay, i had to use the stock stops or it would "high speed flutter" and shut down, put the reed stops on and they worked great, way better than stock, if i still ran a stock cage on either of our bikes, it would have the stops installed

on my boyesen power reeds i run the strips and they dont flutter or break, i was wondering if the stock stops made a difference over the strips and i switched them out and did some runs with and without, and with the stock stops my bike is a little less responsive than with the strips, but this is for me idk about your bikes

X2 I have had no problems with my boysen reeds using just the strips for over a year.
