very confused can't figure out where to start on my jetting before a plug chop. Afraid I'm going to fry the top end

I have a 250 main jet in right now. Also have a 240 on me.

Mods: stock header and silencer
: stock air filter with lid off
: cylinder was bored to 67
: clip is in the top second
: sea level is at 2950

Also have a dg silencer and pro circuit header for later future references. Any concern will help thank you!!!

Clip on needle in middle clip!

#250 main should be ok, but if you pre mix at 32:1 use a #260 to start with?

The engine must be leak free, the float level correct and the idle speed adjusted to makers specs!

Leak test was a success. I'm mixing at 40:1. Seems a bit sluggish on low end. Should the needle trick do it ?

You really should mix at 32:1 or better.

All advice given on BF will be based on a ratio of 32:1.

The change in needle setting will richen up the AFR between 1/4 and 3/4 throttle .

Read up on plug chops and perform one!

Okay correct me if I'm wrong but I'm using 4oz of oil for every gallon. So basically 8oz of oil mixed in a two gallon gas tank.

Yes I'm barely on my second tank of gas after a rebuild. I will do a plug chop on my third tank.
