What a statement, it will just settle, if the top end is going no amount of settling will make it any better.
yeah I believe I got screwed over but what am I gona do besides not go back. I'm going to order the wiseco top end kit 0.03 over that comes with the gasgets for 150 off motosport, do the math for the boring my self and bring it to the guy nick and hopefully it will have the right clearance
I still do not know how to do the perfect warm up with the wiseco piston if someone could explain or show me a video or should I go with a different piston
i do this to warm it up, first i just start it up with choke on then let it idle for about 1 minute revving it with the choke off. then i ride around in low rpm's for about 3 minutes in 2nd gear, then i feel the exhaust with my hand and if its hot your ready

I don't know what the knock/slap noise is coming from then. is it possible my studs aren't all the way in?
The only real way to find out if the piston is the correct size is to rip the motor apart and measure it.
possibly some excessive scuffing ?
some better lighting would help
you've got it that far, time to remove the piston from the rod, break out the feeler gauges and follow the vid posted above to check the clearence.
btw...lose that green paper gasket on the next assembly before it leaks and fries stuff.
use OEM or cometic black base gaskets only

my feeler gauge only does .01 inch and it doesn't fit in there it seems pretty tight, would just a air leak cause the knocking possibly?
I can fit a .003 gauge no problem a .004 fits but it stops a .005 does not fit
is that to much clearance? if its not the piston I don't know what the knock/slap could be

yeah it has got to be slap the piston is scuffed at the bottom on the intake and exhaust, is .004 clearance to much? could it have been an uneven bore or would something else create the piston slap
0.035 to 0.040mm -----.0014" to .0016" piston to cylinder wall clearance is specified for a stock cast piston.
Dont know the specs on a forged piston but it would a little more clearance.
