i am doing a minor rebuild 98 blaster, first i am starting with the bottom end... any recomondations on parts?? Brands??? i want to replace clutch and bearings for sure... anything else??? im open to all or any help... thanks

I'd go with Wiseco.

I have heard good reviews on billets clutchs if your replacing the crank go with Wiseco or Hot Rods i would personaly go with Wiseco keep us updated pictures would be cool and if you need any help and im not on PM me and ill help you as much as i can

ok do NOT go with a wiseco crank, they have a awful bad rap for being untrue, sometimes horribly.. not worth saving a few bucks only to get a junk part, either get a vitos crank or a hot rods. for a crank a barnett dirt digger is nice but kinda pricey, most any clutch kit off ebay will suit ya good. topend definately go with a wiseco forged piston

I didn't know Wiseco made bad cranks. So sorry for recommending them. In that case I'd use a Hot Rod's. But I'm still all for Wiseco top ends.

Damn... That's unbelievable. You'd think a big name company like Wiseco would be precise and trustable.

be sure and lap the cases and get new crank bearings. using a crank puller to install the crank is a must.
