rebuild startup.

my blaster idles fine with half choke but when you turn it off it starts stallingm and hitting the gas a little bit makes it rev to high. air fuel screw? wtf could it be. and you can feel the compresson of my exhaust like 3 tgimes as far as you used to be able to. thats normal right?

exhaust shootin out yes.. you have more compression now so it forces the exhaust out faster, not sure if it matters but when mine is cold i have to keep the choke on half or full for 2 min or so or it wont stay running,

if your on a fresh rebuild you should start it and let it run for 15 min at idle for the first start up, than let it cool completely.. than follow break in procedure

man i do love the sounf of that pipe!!! yeah its smoking pretty good.. my wifes blaster smokes like made to, and thats got less than 2 hours on a rebuild, i think prev owner mixed there amzoil crap to fat, so once it gets low enough im swappin it over to pro honda hp2 same stuff i run in mine, once mine is warm it dont smoke,

it sounds alreight in the vid, seems that your just smoking so bad cuz your at lower rpms so its not burning clean yet. finish the break in and go from there on the smoking

and if you didnt yet, clean your carb, and make sure all the choke stuff is also clean

im pretty sure the carb wasnt clean yet, but i put the chain on and took it for another spin and it has virtually NO power. AT ALL. in 1st 2nd or 3rd. i couldnt go any higher i couldnt get the RPMs high enough!!! im so confused and frustrated after all this work and money

clean the carb first, and filter if need be, throw a new plug in it, after that if it still does it get back to me

already got a new plug. mine was full of piston lol when i blew it up. ill clean the carb prolly todaqy if it stops raining and ill let you know thanx for the help!!

from that vid, ur blaster looks like its running pretty rich. The smoke is a good thing though, means that ur getting oil! lol

haha i screwed with the air screw its idleing better fer sure, but no power. AT ALL. it just puts around slower than my little 5 horse go cart. couldnt even get the RPMs high enough to go anywhere in third

put a new plug in it again... if its smoking bad then it was running rich and therefore prabably fouled out that plug, your supposed to put a new plug after break in.

and a 310 is to big of a jet, you should have more like 270-280... thats probly whare the smoke came from

the jet came with the toomey kit. i couldnt drill my airbox and run the pipe without it.

plus it didnt smoke hardy at all before the rebuild and i had the jet in then too

did it get warmer? you are running way too rich. just make your jet a size smaller and then raise your needle clip up and lean your air screw

i still say its rich, but try changing your plug your supposed to after rebuild anyway as i said before

he's talking about the arrow on the piston top pointing towards the exhaust port. And that would cause some problems.
