rear shock advice

what should i get for a rear shock

a stock 400 ex, banshee or a 250r rear shock?

i just mounted my 400 ex today and its not to bad, better than stock, check the diy, suprex has the 250r shock with pics!

IMO The 400ex shock is your best bet. The Shee shock sits kinda low and the 250r shock unless it's aftermarket is prolly worn out by now...PB

warrior is the best shock

400ex shock is a good one. A warrior shock is the same length as a banshee shock so they sit low and are far from being the best shock.

im putting my 400 ex shock on now, but im having trouble with the top mount!

i have a + 3 swingarm and i wouldn't wanna sit any higher tahn i do now i would like 2 drop down if anything and i'm running the banshee shock.

my 250R rear shock is very nice. i really like it...

but, i stress.... i think i got lucky on mine... it was recently re-built when i bought it.

he made a good point there... don't buy a 250r shock unless it was rescently rebuilt, because they are older and possibly worn out...
