rear brake rotor

Picked up a new rear brake rotor off of ebay so I thought I'd post a couple pics of it. Its brand new and I got it for 55 with free shipping. They have alot of different designs but i chose the blade style

The rear shock is a custom axis with an '89 trx250r spring on it. The utility tire in the one pic belongs to an '08 polaris ranger 700xp

Looks awesome! Is there any benefit to the design other than looks? I was looking at some of the ones on rocky mt. and they look pretty crazy too. Is your swinger painted white? It almost looks like plastic in those pics.

Not sure if it keeps the rotor cooler with all the slots in it, guess it can't hurt though. I mainly got it because I didn't like the looks of the stock one.
Yeah, my swingarm is painted white. When I got it it was orange and I just painted it white til I take it off to have it chromed

from what i hear at least in hare scrambles slotted rotors dont last they kill your brake pads

I've also heard that. The reason I heard was because mub and debris getsin the slots and chews up the pads, thats why cross country racers use solid rotors

Hmmm that's interesting. I would have never guessed that but it makes sense to me now.
