I was wondering If something holds the rear rotor in place besides resting in caliper? Anyone have a picture of the rotor from the side of the axle without the sprocket?
yes. it is held in by a brake hub that has grooves that go into splines on the axle. it rests against your axle carrier and the bigger part of the axle. the axle is skinny at both ends, and is skinnier in the middle. on one side, it is tapered so the brake hub doesnt fall off, and on the other side it is threaded to put 2 nuts on it.
