Hello All,

I have read several articals on this subject but just want to confirm.

Will a rear Banshee Shock Bolt right up to a Blaster without having to modify anything?

Thank You in Advance

Hello Again,

So I was looking on EBay for a rear 400ex shock and a lot of the listings are calling out the shock for a TRX 400EX / 400 EX.
I just want to be sure it is going to work on my Blaster prior to buying it.

I know I will need the KOR Bushing kit to install it and also that I will need to drill the bottom mounting hole to a 12mm,

I guess my main concern is a 400EX the same thing as a TRX 400EX
(I was looking it up online and it seems that they switched the name after 2005 to TRX 400EX)

Again I just want to be sure before I buy it.

thank You

alot of honda atv's, at least the sport models carried the TRX prefix.... trx250x, trx300ex, trx400ex

the trx400ex or 400ex, same quad/shock, is what you need

For the price of a good used 400 rear shock and the Kor bushings you really can't go wrong. I myself and I'm sure many others on here are pleased with this simple yet very affective upgrade..

thats exactly what i did, one of the best upgrades you can get imo.... its a back SAVER!!!

Those bushings are nice and it's a cheap, easy, and effective upgrade. I wanna get am aftermarket 450 shock soon and see how much of a difference that makes.

From what I've read it seems to be the way to go.
I actually can't wait to put it in.
Also this winter I'm planning on taking apart
The top end to have it bored out a little I was told by the previous owner that it had been bored over already but want to see for myself. If it needs to be Re-bored I think I'm going to send it to Oconnor racing and have him do it I think I saw $55 to have it bored. Can't go wrong there!

Yeah plus gaskets. And a new piston and rings. Never bore unless it's needed. Gains no power better to save your bores for when needed!

Yup. I'm really just curious to see if it was bored over already.
Don't want to rip it apart if I don't have too. Seems to run ok from
What I've noticed. Seems to make a little noise but from what I've read
Most 2 strokes are noisy beasts
