I am new to the quad game here and purchased a 2002 yamaha blaster.... It is bored 0.20 over with a pipe and aftermarket piston and ring kit... The bike is a tad small for me I was wondering what I can do to widen the wheel base As far as front and rear axels and such.
Thanks in advance

I'm running a banshee rear axle. It was cheap. However it won't work with the pre 03 brakes that you have. As far as the front you could flip the front rims. I've never done it but seen it done. A arms are always a good choice but require funds. And there is always wheel spacers. Which are affordable. I never ran them, but people on here have. If you can afford it I would run ASR a arms, and a extended rear axle so you can keep the mechanical rear brakes. You can always get a 03+ rear carrier, and run the banshee axle with a standard hydraulic setup. I'm running the 02 rear carrier, banshee axle, and Awk08 rear brake setup. It's spot on.

Cost wise how much does a banshee rear axel and brake setup go for versus the tusk axel which is roughly 200... But if I use a tusk axel I won't have to change brakes correct?

banshee axle on ebay, look it up. probably around $80

as for brakes, you will need to buy either Awk's kit (it might work with this?)

or an 03+ carrier and brake setup
