hey guys, it's been a very long time since I have been on here. I use to buy and sell tons of blasters back a few years ago but havnt been around them in a while. I managed to pick up another one. It's a 1992 Pink one from Yamaha. The thing is absolutely all original and the cleanest blaster I have ever seen. I have never seen another pink one around. What do you guys think is the hardest colour blaster to come across? Anyone else have a pink one?

I'd agree the pink is the rarest, followed by the pastel green & green/grey combos

Welcome back around

why do both of those pinkys have the front bumper reflectors ?

I know some states required them, but 2 pinkys, in the same thread, with them seems ....strange ?

Mine only has the front right reflector, funny things is its been like that since I got it in '93.

I remember someone from some state....Maine or Vermont maybe ? saying alot of blasters they'd seen had the reflectors and some even had a brake light on 88-02 cable brake models.
when I was doing the gsxr brakes, some of the cable brake pedals I'd order off ebay had a small bracket off the inside of the pedal for connection of a brake light switch.

do either of these pinkys have a rear brake light, or that bracket off the brake pedal ?

I have one..... Someone painted over it and i stripped the paint off the hood and gas tank cover.
Some one put black fenders on

My blaster does not have refecters on it. well im here in Wisconsin. The frame was powder coated light shiny blue. i looks good. It even has the pink shocks still on it. Sorry for bad pic
I think the blue frame and pink gas tank and hood and shocks look good.

My blaster is Canadian, and my banshee also has the mounts for reflectors, but they are all busted off. As far as a brake light, no mine does not have a brake light, although one of our trail systems requires a functional brake light, so I might have to look into rigging one up.

One thing I've found weird that I haven't seen anywhere else. My dad's OG 88 blaster had a plate mounted just behind the front bumper I think for the purpose of putting a plate or registration numbers on. Straight off the showroom floor like that. I can't remember but I think his registration numbers were on it when I was young but they started to peel off so he took the plate off.

rare? for some reason between all the blue ones as per usual yamaha you see i do see moe pink one (not for sale but like youtubers saying look at my new blaster)
then u have 80% of old blaster are repainted cheap and horible...
i got a grey fender and red gastank plastic kit that has been fully repainted black... i just bought some facelift plastic in blue to make it look beter and sold it
but i kept the plastics someday i might stripp all the paint off.. its actually a lot of work and cost also alot in paint remover that works... (car paint stripper spray works great but now cost 20€ a can...)
anyway i now got a white + pink blaster fully OEM i mean not really but i have the white rims still front are fuked up both wiggle, and rears are fine but i put on some alloy rims. but i got the pink seat the pink suspension they did spray pain the gastank and front in black... hell of a job to remove it without that paint remove spray.. i used wd40, dot4 brake fluid (works ok but takes alot of scrubbing) ended up soaking it in 1L of dot4 OIL i mean i just painted it all on it let if sit over night and do it again toke me like 2h scrubbing every day and 3 days total....
they pink again i did have to clear coat them my self cause the shine was gone
anyway i just miss the oem sticker they hard to find (replicas are fine to me) but like ebay has 4 stickers replicas for 100€ that aint fun...
i have seen like 5 pink ones on youtube over the years one french youtuber had 3 of them... so rare color maybe but its the only color i keep seeing on youtube..
rarely see the green/turqoise white one, seen one or 2 red white for sale a couple of purple ones that been resprayed. eveyr one says pink is rare...
its as rare as my 1988 blue white banshee to me... you do seen them but not as much as the basic yamaha color scheme...
mine didnt come with OEM handlebar and no headlight, i have the oem front bumper. put on some aliexpress banshee headlights 18w a piece so wierd on to the OEM headlight cables works like a charm and cost me 10€ for 2. while oem blaster one cost me 40€ 2nd hand.
i do like the classic old school color scheme. i have a raptor 350 but actaully like the warrior blaster banshee looks the classic more squar look.
