ok i never heard of anyone trying to put a Raptor 700 rear shock on their blaster.. they are almost the same length with a .13 difference i didnt tell anyone this just because i always wanted to try it.. but i bought one and put it on my 250R same shock length as a blaster and it works great and they are pretty cheap i picked mine up for $38.58 left it on the stock settings and it handels a ton better.. so just giving you guys another option in cheap shocks

ya iv been trying to get a Raptor shock 6 months before i sold my blaster so about a year ago i guess i should have let the cat out of the bag earlier.. but now you know.. and you could probally use a Suzuki Quadracer 250R rear shock i have one that needs to be rebuilt.. and who ever puts one on their blaster is probally the 1st one

i had a 250r shock on my blaster and it sat to high even with the preaload springs at the very top.. i have not put the raptor shock on a blaster yet but they have enough adjustments to make it suit any rider and with the blaster being lighter im sure it could be just as good as the 400 or if not better.. but putting it on my 250R huge improvment i have it dialed in i turned the the preload rings up a quarter turn and then turned the compression screw 1 turn and it sits nice and then turned the rebound screw out 1 turn and it came up a tad slower it works great for my 250R blaster dont weight to much less.. i would say go for it.. i pad 38.50 shipped for the shock and no scratches on the spring and bearings still had grease.. if you want a new shock i would try it

Hell im gonna do it! .. I just need to know if there is space for the rezz? I mean it will properly be right where the intake tunnel are for the airfilte/carb.. If I only knew there was good clearance..

Well i dumped the project.. Ordered a stock rear.. dont wanna end up cutting and grinding everything away.. besides i had enough headaches during the rebuild so i just wanna get the the finish line now. . .
