Raptor 350 slap in the face!

Yes and no....

If you have the wrong jetting, you will lose power
The right jetting you will have a maximum running engine I:I

Kinda incorrect. Jetting that is on the lean side to a point will give you the most power BUT will burn up the motor. NEVER jet it by ass Dyno.

Probably could search just this forum and find plenty of info, but here you go : :o

You have lots to learn yet. :o
First off I would NOT go to 40:1. That is less oil for the engine, plus you have to rejet, which you don't have a handle on, yet.
Most run 32:1 because it's an easy to use ratio I:I
I run 28:1 because oil is cheap, parts aren't :o . Blaaster runs 25:1 (I think)

Little bit about oil: http://www.blasterforum.com/engine-13/pre-mix-ratios-myth-facts-read-14935/ , http://www.blasterforum.com/engine-13/about-2-stroke-oils-premix-54008/

Sure do and bean oil at that, any motor under 200 cc should use 32:1 or greater fuel/oil mix.

Bean oil is extracted from the seed of the Castor plant.

It is undoubtedly the best oil ever for anyone wanting ultimate protection for their motor.

It has a distinctive smell and if used at ratios greater than 32:1 can increase compression which adds a little power.
