hi im new to his forum, i have a 200 yamaha blaster and i just got it in a trade, i had all sorts of luck this weekend the bike was running great and pulling strong and i would be riding for about 20 minutes then it will bogg down and die, then i went to restart it and my kickstarter fell off somewhere, i had the kickstarter fall off of my yz125 along time ago also, but my other problem is that i idles really high sometimes, if i let out the clutch ingear to bogg it down it seems to get the idle back to normal most of the time, now even after trying to bring down theidle it still reves back up to a high idle, anyone have this occur, ive beeen told it might be sucking air but i dont have time untill this weekend to work on it

sounds like a broken reed or the reeds are wore out and out of specs. it could be a air leak look at the rubber boot for cracks. make sure the clamps are tight

Pull the plug. If it is white, it is running lean which means a possible air leak or you need to adjust the carb or change the jets. I got a blaster in a trade like that also that was runing lean. I kept riding it and the piston overheated and broke apart and shot into the bottom end, so now the whole motor is shot. Check the plug and get back to me.

mike i cant get to it till the weekend, im trying to gther as much info this week while at campus then i go home every weekend to work on it and play, thx for the help. any more suggestions?
