What radiators can be rigged to put on a trx250r my friend said a cr radiator would be cheaper and better, is this true?

I would use trx250r rads, if Honda wanted CR radiators on it they would have come with those.

Yeah but original rads are f*cking expensive and usually f*cked up due to being 20+years old.

If you can't find an original one then get an aftermarket one that's made for the trx. I agree with the other guys, do it right and don't rig it up
