just to prove you wrong here is the post from the guy that recieved the email

"Long story as short as possible, when I bought my cr250 I was told it had boyesen reeds. with the carb already off I decided to take a look for my self.
Well they where not stock but looked older than me. Undecided on what series of the boyesen I should get, I sent them an email with my bike's engine info, carb series, pipe and muffler, type of riding i do mostly, temp, and elevation.
To my surprise a gentleman by the name of Paul Waslin Boyesen emailed me back. Told me what series reeds to use and why, the part number I needed,
jet specs, and what ratio I should run with what type of oil in it to get peek performance without meltdown.

Just simply an amazing company to do that..

And for those who want to know this is the breakdown of what I was told.

(86 cr250 stock bore w/new upper used for trail and hill climb recommend
stock code 607 boyesen power reeds. Use a main jet as close as 168 as possible and run the airjet approx 1 3/4 turns out from lightly seated. Also recommend running 32:1 or no higher than 40:1 with any top brand of synthetic 2 stroke premix. This combo with your mx series DG pipe and muffler will give it what it needs and keep the engine running clean.
Just remember to keep an eye on your plug electrodes, color should be a darkish to mid brown. Blackish or white color both are not good for 2 strokes.)"

So think before you say something
