carb right now is running a 1 turn out air screw, 50 pilot, 1 clip down from the middle, and a 150(i think) main...the bike has a uni filter, duncan pipe/silencer, vitos reeds. it seems to be running fine, way stronger than with the stock carb, but the throttle seems to hang when u let off the throttle and doesn't return to a normal idle till a few seconds....should i go up on the pilot and go down one more clip on the needle? i figured it's a lean low circuit setting causes this. just wanted a second or third opinion.

Are you sayin the thumb throttle isn't returning to normal rest position like the spring tension isn't there or do you mean the motor is running to high rpm longer than it should?

Does it always start one kick?
My quad would start first kick all the time when my jetting was OFF (way rich), but once I got it closer, Id have to choke it and kick it a few times before it would start up.

Didn't want to start a new post. Any insight on this thread? I have about the same setup and am having the same problem, hanging throttle when you rev, takes a couple seconds to go back to idle.

threads almost 6 YEARS OLD, I think everyone would prefer you start your own thread....
Sounds to me like your air/fuel mixture is running a bit lean. How many turns is your air fuel screw out? I would play around with that first.
Stays the same through another turn in, once you get to .5 or further is starts to choke at idle likes it's being flooded.
