questions on Installing a +4 crank !!

I want to install a +4mm Hot rod crank but have some questions for anyone ho might help.

how thick does the spacer needs to be ? 4mm ?

His it mandatory to have the ports matched ?

What will happend if i dont get matched ports ? (run like crap? not run at all?)

To match the ports, and porting job do i have to send the head and jug... or head, jug and bottom ?
( i live in the Azores, Shipping the head and jug back and forward to USA is like $180, but if i have to send the bottom as well... its just to expensive to shipp it)

i don't think they make a 4mm spacer plate, you need to have the head milled down and the ports redone. i wouldn't run a 4mm crank with out that being done. its not that help full but just my 02.

I´m thinking on fabing up the plate, so just really need to know how thick it should be, or even better, how to take the measurent myself.

Not doubting you guys but why would they sell the crank without a matching spacer plate?
I would PM Flotek on his thought of what to do.
He is pretty familar with Blaster motors.

good point, dont know why but Hotrods cranks on ebay seem to come whitout the spacer, at least they dont mention it... so i just mail the seller to clear that up.
