i have an 01 blaster. it is bored 80 over 3mm stroker kit im getting a toomy pipe. i was wondering if cool heads would be worth the investment as well as get a new cdi box and a hotter burning coil. im also have problems with it when it gets warm it will rev up not hitting the throttle and the only way it shuts of is if i get the rpms down or if i stall it. does any one no what is wrong with it. also thoughts on reed spacers. any help will be greatly appreatated.

so i build that and put it in then just listin for the air leak you leave the top end on the bottom end im guessing

The tester should have a pressure gauge on it to detect any pressure loss. If it loses pressure you should then look for the leak. A spray bottle with soap and water works well. Just spray on the engine and look for bubbles.

Its all in the first link I posted.

if it only revs out when warm, might guess you should make sure your head is tight. and you dont need to use the reed spacer or cool head. if you are worried about keeping it cool, just ruch your jetting a tad rich all the time. run your premix at 32:1 and your jetting rich. yes you will foul plugs this way but you wont blow your top end or overheat.

ok sweet thanks man yeah idk what the hell was going on it doesnt do it if i ride in a high gear either or if i pull the choke out a little its almost like it only does it if there is no load i couldnt get it to shut of when i was on some ice even with the kill switch off and the key

thanks for the help it only does it in low gear and when the rev is high or in high gears when rev is high and the only way to stop it if its reving high like that is to stale it shuting the kill switch off and turning the key off doesnt do anything

I'm still going with doing a leakdown test. If you don't want to make your own tester pm holeshotman. He makes them and will ship it out to you. I think $30-35 shipped.

ya air leak.
first go through your engine and make sure all the bolts are tight, ie the head, the jug, reeds, everything. if everything is tight, time for the leakdown tester.
if stuff is loose, tighten them and see if that fixes the problem.
