I have a 2006 Blaster. Aggressive port, Toomey B1 exhaust system, K&N air filter, modified air box, 4 degree advanced timing, stock reeds with a reed spacer in front and stock Mikuni carb with a 340 main jet. Runs great on top end, faster than lightening as long as you keep it in the power band range but is very sluggish on bottom end. It's geared a little high with a 14 tooth front sprocket and 20''x11''x9'' rear tires. I was just wondering what I could do to get more bottom end torque and keep my top end. I have heard that opening my pilot jet up would get some of it back but I just wanted to get some input on it.

na for those mods it dont need to be bigger, the pilot only works up to 1/4 throttle, try messing with the air/fuel screw and a 340 is kinda big imho, that can give it that boggy feeling your explaining
