I've seen the post about mounting the rear shock on this web site and got a question about it... It isn't clear what you are supost to do with the bronze sleave... Am I supost to take the sleave out of the shock and replace it with the bronze sleave or what??? Also is a bronze sleave strong enough??

i belive you are suppose to replace the sleev with the new bronze one to fit the bolt but i dont think my hardware store has one so im going another route today ill see how it goes... def need this shock in today!

I made a spacer that filled the gap between the bolt and the frame. So the smaller bolt fit tight and then drilled out the bottom hole in the shock and made the blaster pin fit. I had to use a washer to hold it tight and made a spacerto fit inside the shock to help it.

^^^ that was my third option wat did u make the spacer to fit inbetween the frame out of??

A pipe from the plumbing dept at home depot it had the same OD as the ID of the shock mount hole on the frame. Then I had to drill it out.
