putting tranny back in case

Ok i pretty sure this might will be the last question i ask on my first engine build. But how do i know if i put the tranny back in right. I kept it all together with all three of the shift forks and they all sitting in there with the shift drum and it spins back and forth with a little difficulty and it seems right but how do i know if i did it right before i put the cases together. thanks dave

well if its back the exact way you took it out and it spins without any binding of gears,chances are ur correct bro.

also if there is any dots on the side of a gear or ingraving that means you line it up with the other gear to that line other wise there can be some problems
