"push rod #2" will not come out please help..

OK so i have done my research on here and google,and i havent found a clear answer on how to fix this problem...In the manual they call the part im trying to remove "push rod #2" also there is a ball bearing still in this shaft.All these parts are on the clutch side and the clutch basket etc mount on it. Push rod #1 came out fine with the pressure plate and bolt.
things i have tried to remove seized ball bearing and push rod #2 are
1.magnet and small screw driver to brak it loose and pull it out
2.a little heat (thinking it would undo the seized parts and then again maget to pull it out.
nothing is working so please help me its been down a while i have new parts to go in push rod 1 and 2 and ball bearing.:-/

Unhook the clutch cable and pull the arm out of the case...that will give you more options

kgibson hope you was talking about the clutch push lever on the left side of the bike where the cable hooks into it by the motor... I removed this and put the magnet on it again again and still nothing. WTF. right?

tip the quad on it's side and it will fall out. you may have to use a screw driver in the hole to get it started.

I'm having the same problem, any other ideas? I have the quad on its side right now. Have tried all thing you guys have mentioned. Help?X(
