I had just recently bought my yamaha blaster and took it for a ride after a thunderstorm the other day. Whenever i where to hit a decent sized puddle the motor would bog, id have to downshift all the way to first and putz around for a few until the motor would rev up normal. What do you gives think? Could it be a carb adjustment? An air leak?:-/

Do you have an airbox or a pod filter.

Sound to me you just got the airfilter wet and dirty. I would clean the air filter, carb and change the plug to start.....

Also welcome to the site..............

could also be the ignition lead getting wet, i had a suzuki 50 which would do that and even cut out when the lead got wet, check it out for damage and a damaged outter covering. Id suggest if it looks dodge, replace it. (from the coil to the spark plug)
