project quad

This will be a fun project.. I cannot get him out of the garage because he is always out there staring at it HAHA..

I think I am more excited than he is !

I also agree that the one (his dads) is MUCH MUCH better looking !

Tim man i gotta know...what do you have done to your "Y"

he has jardine slip on, k&n filter, quickshot, lighter throttle spring, zip tie mod, msr air fuel screw, +2 houser arms, adjustable LSR axle, elka quad rate front shocks, holeshots, powermadds, i think thats about it

so far mines got full yoshi and LSR axle that came with it

ill be partin my blaster..it looks real clean in pics but teh plastics got brown mud splatters is what it looks like and they wont come out so i gota find some super strong cleaner

my blaster had the same stuff on it i could never get it off even with a presurewasher and comercial cleaner my brother got from work, i had to sand it off finally with wet sand paper and do paulies plastic trick..

if your worried about the stains in the plastic's get some laquer thinner from your local automotive store its stronger than gasoline..

Going to be a nice project.Atleast you have a spare parts quad next to it with a-arms,bumpers,stabilizer,etc.Free for the taking.lol Good luck with the build.

yeah the reason why the plastics look dirty even if you clean them all day long is because dirt gets into those tiny scratches and then you cant get the dirt out

my new project quad
should have a motor and battery by winter hopefully
