my grips make my hands black so i went to pick up some pro taper pillow tops today, they fit way too lose on my stock bars, got pissed and threw the old ones on, adding to that, i had a friggin 5 paragraph essay typed about my problem, and my computer decided that it was time to refresh, so lets be blunt. pro taper sucks because they make grips to fit pro taper bars, bullshizz. what grips do i get that will fit stock bars? the local dealership only stocks protaper and scott, any opinions?

i got them with the flanges if that matters, but i dont think they said twist throttle, blasterbuddy200 has the same things from the same place on pro taper bars and they fit fine

just get "OURY" grips from ebay, xcbob's on there has them for $10 and a few shipping, softest, longest lasting, vibration absorbing grips ever

what awk said! ^^^ oury is amazing... I ahve them on my warrior and nothing feels better. They look good to and don't wear very quickly.

warriors are blue, so did you get the baby blue ones? no others seem to match, so i think i might go with glow in the dark. dont know if its the 10 year old in me or what, but i kind of like the look, there the same price, and shipping is free.

i use "goop" to glue my grips on, very strong, silicon type glue, and stays pliable for easy removal to replace them later
goop is available at most hardware and home centers

the amazing goop.............
and don't fall for the different applications, they're all the same

Amazing GOOP Adhesive Products

I'd have to disagree, I have pro taper triple densities on tag bars, Some grip glue to keep em on and have never had trouble. haha ... I will admit that I have a pair of clarks clamp-ons that I'm waiting to put on at some point though.

But have never had the troubles your having

I had the same problem on pro taper grips! just get duck tape/ electrical tape and wrap it arounf your bar a couple times then slid the grip back on! the tape just acts as a spacer between the bar and grip
