pro design intake mani and vforce3's

well guys, i have a prodesign intake manifold and a set of vforce 3s. i dont think they work, the thing with the tube throat on in wont fit into the intake manifold, the only way they will fit together is if i take the tube off the cage... then it will fit together. somone help me.... will this intake manifold not work with vforces?

pro design makes a special manifold just for the vforce reeds.....u might have the 1 for stock reeds

There are 2 different pro design manifolds. ! is made for the v force reeds and one isn't. You have unfortunately gotten the wrong one. I made the same mistake and now my manifold is hanging in the garage because it won't work

yes there is 2 diff ones. i believe 1 is stamped with a "v" in the number but don't remember exactly. i was fortunate enough to get the right one not knowing there was 2 diff ones before i got vf3's. Got a package deal...35mm carb w/ pro design intake with upgraded reeds for $150. have vf3's now but got lucky.

you may have the right one. i bought a pro design intake for mine with the v forces and couldnt get it to work due to that plastic throat that comes off the reeds. well ive been talking to engine guys around me and they all told me you have to cut that part off....but i havent tried it yet so i cant give you a for sure yes or no but i do plan on doing it this winter. btw i think the pro design intake for the stock reeds has a part in the center of the "intake hole" thats just what ive been told.
