lol nawww. i run MX and 18" with 13/40, and i find myself running out of gears a lot, and i dident have my cylinder ported at the time lol. but if u trail ride a lot, id go with 20" tires and 13/40 like u said. that thing will rip! also idk if this is complety true, but i would get the pipe first before you port. porting on a stock pipe would suck major.
ebay! craigslist! lol probs ur best bet unless can find one here. PM yamaha28 and see if he has one.
just did that an alright so i dhould get a new pipe first huh?... is my stock carb gonna be enough with all this? obviously rejetting will have to happen
yea. stock carb will/ should be enough. and YES jetting should be changed! haha. later u can upgrade carb to like 28mm or something like that. i would use stock carb, jet it correctly and see how er runs.
A properly jetted carb works very well! Ask me how I know. Give this a try first. Besides,...its free.
