have a couple of questions:

i have a 2004 blaster and i want to do some mods. i either want to port it or add vforce 3 reeds. right now the only motor mods i am running are a toomey b1 header and exhaust. i also have the airfilter from toomey on with the airbox lid removed. and the jet they provided in the package.

if i were going to port it, would it have to be rejeted? also would it be eaiser for the motor to blow?

for the vforce3 reeds ,would you need to rejet for that as well? also i have seen that you have to cut some part off, is that process tricky or does it bolt on with no modification?

whenever you do a modification where u are going to be giving the engine more/less air you need to rejet.. EVERY TIME. you cant compare reeds to porting, porting is by far the biggest gain you can do to these little motors. i say do both I:I I:I

Simply put...the power difference you felt from going from stock exhaust to Toomey will be a less drastic change in power than a port job (depending on port layout)...gitr ported. And yes rejet
