If i just got my head bored over to the max. Do i have to get it ported or not. Because i have the whole motor together already.

Did wear require you to bore it to the limit?? If not, I hate to tell you but you just wasted your cylinder for a very small gain in displacement that you will not likely feel. As far as the porting question, no....do to the factory port roofs in the sleeve being cut perpendicular to the cylinder bore, your port durations will not change with overbores. Would porting add performance, absolutely! On engines that have been ported these roofs in the sleeve are no longer perpendicular in most cases so you will loose port open duration with overbores, in that case you would need to have them touched up to maintain performance.

id add if the cylinder is at its bore limit it would probably be best not to port it as the life expectancy of that jug is on borrowed time and its going to be short , it wouldnt be cost effect considering your port will need redone on a resleeve job or another cylinder

Its actually been bored overa few times. But i will probably wait and get a 240 kit and port it.
